During the investigation of this offense detectives developed information that the vehicle posted in this article was used by the suspect responsible for the shooting.

On February 10, 2019, at approximately 7:15 p.m., an unknown individual approached a parked vehicle at 9300 Mixon Drive and shot both of the occupants, Amelia Hernandez-Orozco, a 46-year-old Latin female, and Saul Baeza Sanchez, a 39-year-old Latin male.  Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the victim Hernandez-Orozco deceased at the scene. The victim Baeza Sanchez was transported to an area hospital and is being treated for his injuries.
