Today, February 20, 2019, Officer Brian Nolff from the Northwest Patrol Division was named the 2018 Officer of the Year by the Dallas Community Police Awards Committee(DCPAC). On February 13, 2018, Officer Brian Nolff was awarded February’s Officer of the Month which nominated him for the Officer of the Year Award. A breakfast ceremony was held in his honor at The Clubs of Prestonwood.
Officer Nolff is the 17th officer to receive the honor of being selected Officer of the Year by the DCPAC. For more than four decades, DCPAC has recognized an officer in the Dallas Police Department. Success North Dallas had the honor of hosting this inspiring awards presentation. The keynote speaker at this morning’s breakfast was Lieutenant Colonel Allen West.
Officer Nolff is a twenty-seven year veteran of the Dallas Police Department. He assumed the role as the Northwest Neighborhood Police Officer (NPO) business liaison in November 2016. Officer Nolff works in close collaboration with business owners, apartment managers, community leaders and city government officials to address and resolve crime and quality of life issues that affect the Northwest Patrol Division.
