On February 20, 2019, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call involving multiple victims in the 11700 block of Ferguson Road.  The victim, James Babers, a Black male 37-years-old, was involved in a physical altercation in the parking lot with an unidentified male suspect.  A second male suspect produced a handgun and shot in the direction of the crowd.  Victim Babers was shot multiple times and died at the hospital.  Two other individuals were also shot and were being treated at area hospitals.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is encouraged to contact Detective McDaniel, #8890 at 214-671-4236 or tonya.mcdaniel@dallascityhall.com.  Please refer to case #034964-2019.
