On February 22, 2019, at approximately 7:09 pm, Dallas Police officers responded to a Disturbance Armed Encounter call at Fair Oaks Avenue and Park Lane. 

When they arrived at the location, officers encountered the suspect Demon Reese, a 36 year old Black male who matched the description given by the caller. The suspect fled from the officers. During the foot pursuit the suspect fired his weapon. One officer returned fire. 

The suspect was taken into custody and his weapon was recovered. Neither the suspect or the officers were injured.  This offense is documented on Case number 036587-2019.
