On April 30, 2019, Suspect Malcolm Bussey surrendered to Dallas Police at 1400 S. Lamar Street regarding the murder of Raymond Dupree. Bussey waived his Miranda rights and agreed to speak with detectives. After the interview, he was arrested and placed in jail for his murder warrant. His bond has been set at $500,000.00.

Suspect Malcolm Bussey
On April 24, 2019, at about 12:38 pm, Dallas officers responded to a Shooting call at 6271 Highland Hills Drive, the Highland Park Apartments. Upon arrival, the victim, Raymond Dupree B/M/28, was found inside his vehicle with several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased from his injuries. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Malcolm Bussey, Black male 37- years-old, is responsible for the victim’s death. Suspect Bussey fled the scene in a light colored Grand Marquis.
