On Monday, May 6, 2019, at approximately 8:44 p.m., a black male in his 70’s was walking across the street at the 8500 block of Park Lane.  While walking in the eastbound lane, he was struck and killed by a vehicle that was traveling eastbound at Park Lane towards Pineland Street.  The suspect vehicle fled the location after striking the male.  The only vehicle information detectives received from witnesses, at the scene, was it was a white four door vehicle possibly 2008 body style.  Detectives have reviewed video footage from nearby store and have identified a vehicle of interest – a white four door Dodge Charger with black rims. 

We are reaching out to the public for assistance.  We know that there were several people standing in front of the apartment complex that possibly witnessed the offense.
