The Dallas Police Department Office of Community Affairs and the City of Dallas Office of Community Care Senior Services are hosting a free Senior Safety Summit on Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This year the Senior Safety Summit will have a focus on “Hoarding.” Other topics will be personal and financial safety.
The Senior Safety Summit is being held at the Lakewest YMCA located at 3737 Goldman St., Dallas, TX 75212. This free event for Dallas area senior citizens will provide information about how to stay safe in different aspects of life. Presenters will include the Dallas Police Department, Mental Health America, and the Senior Source. Other organizations serving our senior community will be onsite to provide information as well.
Registration is required to attend, as there are only 150 seats available. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided with registration. The deadline to register is June 26, 2019, but space is limited so we suggest registering early!
