Homicide Detectives Asking for Public’s Assistance to Solve Murder

On Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at approximately 5:14 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 3633 Cedar Lake Drive.  Upon arrival, officers found the victim Valdemar Esquivel, a 17-year-old Latin male, in a blue Ford F-150, with a gunshot wound to the head.  Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced him deceased at the scene.  No suspects are in custody at this time, and this investigation is on-going.
