On June 30, 2019 at 11:18 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 3535 Munger Ave. Witnesses stated that a group of individuals were playing dice in front of the Roseland Community Center when a vehicle drove by and shot multiple rounds, striking at least four victims. Dallas Fire and Rescue transported four victims to local hospitals. Two of the victims, Gregory Horton III and Zacchaeus Banks, both 17-year-old black males, were pronounced deceased at the hospital.
