Arrest Made: Homicide on Main Street

Update:  July 1, 2019

On July 1, 2019, Dallas Police arrested Kelsey Jabari Wade Young, a 17-year-old black male, for the murder of Adan Lozano that occurred on June 22, 2019 and for an aggravated assault against another victim. He was transported to Jack Evans Police Headquarters, where he was provided a Miranda warning and subsequently requested an attorney. Young was placed in jail and charged with capital murder and aggravated assault. His bond will be set by a Dallas County magistrate.

Suspects in the homicide are seen in the video below. The Black male with the grey sweatshirt and sweatpants, the Black male with a black shirt and khaki shorts, and the Black male with the dark jacket, blue jeans and blue back pack.

The victim has been identified as Adan Lozano, a Latin male 28-years-old.

On June 22, 2019, at approximately 02:45 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting in a paid parking lot at 2600 Main Street.  A 28-year-old Latin male, whose identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification, was shot multiple times and transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.  A second victim, who was also in the parking lot, was shot once while sitting inside his vehicle.  He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
