Update July 27, 2019, at 10:20 p.m.

During the course of this investigation, Homicide detectives learned through physical evidence that the suspect, Marcos Flores-Rodriguez, a 25-year-old Latin male, was the individual responsible for the murder of his wife, Diana Garcia-Pedraza, a 22 year old Latin female.  On Saturday, July 27, 2019, the U.S. Marshals – North Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested Marcos Flores-Rodriguez, and he was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters. Homicide detectives interviewed him and he was transported to the Dallas County Jail and charged with Murder.

On July 13, 2019, at approximately 8:34 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Ohio Avenue. They discovered the victim, Diana Garcia, a Latin female 22-years-old, deceased inside her vehicle from homicidal violence. No suspects have been identified.
