On July 23, 2019, at 10:08 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 13660 Montfort Dr., the Montfort Valley Apartments. Upon arrival they located the victim, Quadrian Whitaker, a 24-year-old black male, in the parking lot of the complex with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
