On July 25, 2019, Officer Daniel Hale, #9157, was awarded the 2019 July Officer of the Month by the Dallas Community Police Awards Committee. The ceremony and honorary dinner was held at 1900 Akard Street.
Officer Hale is a 12 year veteran of the Department and is currently assigned to the Fusion Center. Prior to the Fusion Center, Daniel served at the North Central Patrol Division. In his 12 years on the department, Officer Hale has received a Life Saving Award and over 40 commendations.
Sergeant Amy Ginger, who nominated Officer Hale, had this to say, “Officer Hale came to the Fusion Center in August of 2017 and the impact he has made has been immeasurable. The Fusion Center requires a mastery of a wide range of technical and analytical skills and Officer Hale was quick to learn his duties and become a valuable member of the Fusion team. ”
