On August 15, 2019, Alexis Bowman surrendered to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office at Lew Sterrett for the warrant issued for her arrest regarding the murder of Fredrick Myers. Bowman posted bond that was set by the magistrate and released from Lew Sterrett.

On August 10, 2019, at approximately 11:23 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 3109 Al Lipscomb Way. They discovered the victim, Fredrick Myers a 42-year-old Black male, had been shot and transported to an area hospital. The victim died from his injuries. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Alexis Bowman a 36-year-old Black female was responsible for Myers death. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Suspect Bowman is encouraged to call 911 or contact Detective Walton at 214-671-3632 or christopher.walton@dallascityhall.com.
