On August 10, 2019, at approximately 4:26 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 7100 block of  Grey Dawn Lane.  The victim, Juan Garay a 28-year-old Latin male, was involved in an argument with suspect Oscar Hurtado, a 30-year-old Latin male.  The argument escalated when the suspect shot and killed the complainant.  The suspect was arrested and transported to the Dallas Police Headquarters to be interviewed.  After being read his Miranda rights, Suspect Hurtado declined to speak with detectives.  He was placed in jail for murder.  His bond will be set at a later date and time by a magistrate.
