Homicide on Larga Drive

Update:  August 14, 2019

Through the course of the investigation, on August 12, 2019, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Dallas police arrested Eduardo Ramirez-Rivera, a 39-year-old Latin male, for sleeping in public.  He matched the physical description of the suspect captured on surveillance video fleeing the offense and had a fresh injury to his face.  He was transported to the Dallas Police Homicide Unit for an interview.  After waving his Miranda Rights, he admitted to getting into a fight and stabbing the victim.  Ramirez-Rivera was placed in jail for sleeping in public and murder.  His bond will be set by a magistrate.

On August 11, 2019, at approximately 8:22 p.m., Dallas police responded to a stabbing call at 9400 Larga Drive.  They discovered the victim, an unidentified Latin male, with multiple stab wounds in a business parking lot.  He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
