On August 15, 2019, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call at a gambling location in the 4000 block of Urban Avenue.  When the officers arrived, they found two male victims shot inside.  One of the adult male victims was pronounced deceased at the scene by Dallas Fire and Rescue while the second adult male victim was transported to an area hospital.  The second victim was pronounced deceased after arriving at the hospital.

According to witnesses, multiple male suspects entered the gambling location armed with weapons.  Once inside, there was a shootout between the suspects and at least one individual inside, resulting in the two victims being shot.  There were additional patrons inside that were not injured.  The suspects fled the location in a 4 door vehicle.  This remains an active investigation that will be documented on Case Number 165401-2019.
