Update August 25, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that suspect Terrius Randolph, an 18-year-old Black male, was responsible for the death of victim Ogundana.  On August 24, 2019, a capital murder warrant was issued for Randolph who was already in the Dallas County Jail on unrelated warrants.

On Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 1555 Harbor Road.  Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Oluwafemi Joseph Ogundana, a 67-year old Black male, in his vehicle with several gunshot wounds.  Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
