***Update August 25, 2019, at 9:00 p.m., Critical Missing Person Bowers has been located.***

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate a critical missing male.

On August 24, 2019, between 6:30 am and 9:30 a.m., Kareem Bowers sent text messages to a friend that caused the friend to fear for Mr. Bowers personal safety. The friend called 911 and requested a health/welfare check for Mr. Bowers. Officers went to the last known residence, in the 300 block of N. Oak Cliff Boulevard and knocked on several doors in search of Mr. Bowers with negative results. Mr. Bowers is a Black male 36 years old. He is 5’10”, weighs 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Due to information gathered at Kareem Bowers residence, Mr. Bowers may be a danger to himself and others.
