DPD’s Pet of the Week is Lily (A1079319). Lily came to the Dallas Animal Services (DAS) as a stray but we discovered during her photo-shoot that she knows the command “sit”. She’s very smart and very focused. She can be a bit shy at first but is very sweet and low-key. Lily is a member of our “gentle dainty” playgroup which means she likes to play with other dogs without being rowdy. Although Lily is heart-worm positive, she will receive free heart-worm treatment from the DAS!
Lily is pictured with Officer Jeannette Nesom. Officer Nesom is currently assigned to the Northeast Patrol Division. She is a four year veteran of the department.
Officer Nesom says, “Remember Life is better with a four legged friend, so adopt a dog today.”
Let’s help find Lily find a Furrever Home. You can meet and adopt her at Dallas Animal Services located at 1818 N. Westmoreland, 75212. They are open from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday-Saturday and 12 noon until 5 p.m. on Sundays.
