You have seen the results from Vice and Narcotics, but let’s not forget about our gang unit.

On October 16, 2019, at about 1:30 p.m., Dallas Gang Unit detectives and SWAT team members executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Helena Avenue as a result of a shooting incident involving two separate gangs. The Gang Unit was able to seize a total 19 weapons that included shotguns, rifles, handguns and an AR15. In addition, there were over 600 rounds of ammunition seized and 10 extra rifle clips. This remains an ongoing investigation that is documented on case number 175840-2019. Removing these guns off the street is just another step in “Keeping Dallas Safe”.
