Update: November 28, 2019
On November 20, 2019, detectives were able to identify a suspect in the death of victim Charity Crim and obtain a murder warrant. On November 27, 2019, Anthony De Wayne Randle, a 50-year-old Black male was arrested and transported to Jack Evans Police Headquarters. Randle was read his Miranda rights and agreed to speak with detectives. Through the course of the interview, Randle confessed to his role in this offense. He was placed in jail for his murder warrant. His bond will be set by a magistrate.

On November 1, 2019, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Dallas Police were investigating an unrelated call for police, when they found Charity Crim, a 39-year-old white female, near the 5500 block of Maple Avenue with injuries consistent with a violent attack. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries and died on November 16, 2019.
