Officer Involved Shooting At 18700 Lina Street

On November 21, 2019, at about 9:30 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to an active shooter on foot call in the 18700 block of Lina Street. Undercover deployment officers arrived on the scene and observed a female subject firing a weapon at the location. The deployment officers were able to direct uniformed Dallas police officers to the scene. When the uniformed Dallas police officers arrived at the scene, they approached the subject and gave loud verbal commands. The subject discharged her weapon again at which time the uniformed officer discharged his weapon. The female subject then surrendered and was placed in custody uninjured and without further incident. No officers or citizens were injured during this incident. The subject was transported to Jack Evans headquarters to be interviewed. This incident is reported on case number 235255–2019
