On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at approximately 10:47 a.m., Dallas police responded to a call for service regarding a body found in a wooded area at 1900 Sargent Road.  Due to the body being severely decomposed, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office field agent was unable to identify the body. 

On Monday, December 2, 2019, The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office identified the body of the victim, Louis Davis, a 41-year old Black male and ruled that he died from homicidal violence.
