On December 10, 2019, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 4220 Independence Drive.  The victim, Anthony Burks, a 46-year-old Black male was shot inside a motel room.  He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  Two male suspects fled the location on foot.  Anyone with information regarding this murder is encouraged to contact Detective O.
