Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Alberto Julian Lopez, a 19-year-old Latin male played a role in the disappearance and murder of victim Quincy Wyatt. On December 20, 2019, he was arrested and transported to Dallas Police Headquarters for an interview. He was read his Miranda Rights and agreed to speak with detectives. During the interview, Lopez admitted his role that contributed to the victim’s death. He was placed in jail for capital murder. His bond will be determined by a magistrate.
Update 12/19/2019 at 6:30 a.m.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that LaKevian Grant, a 20-year-old Black male and Teilor Johnson, a 19-year-old Black female played a role in the disappearance and murder of victim Quincy Wyatt. On December 18, 2019, they were both arrested and transported to Dallas Police Headquarters for an interview. Both Grant and Johnson waved their Miranda Rights and gave voluntary statements. Based on their interviews with the detective, coupled with the witness statements and physical evidence, they were both charged with capital murder and placed in jail. Their bond will be set by a magistrate.

The victim has been identified as Quincy Wyatt B/M/20.
On December 10, 2019, at approximately 3:18 p.m., Dallas police responded to a call regarding a male on fire at 8100 Mayforge Drive in an open field. Dallas Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the unidentified male deceased due to homicidal violence.
