Dallas Police Detectives were able to obtain a sketch of the second suspect who is believed to be the shooter in this homicide. Below is a sketch of the suspect. He is described as a Latin male, between 18-19 years of age, 5’6” tall, 130 pounds, and in his mouth has a gold teeth grill with diamonds. Suspect was wearing a grey hoodie and jeans and may have fled the location in a 2005 black Chevy Tahoe.

Shooting Suspect Sketch

During the investigation of this offense, Dallas Police Homicide detectives determined that Rene Eduardo Montanez, Jr., a 23-year old Latin male, was one of the suspects that participated in the aggravated robbery. During the robbery, the victim Joseph Pintucci, an 18-year old White male, was shot and killed by one the suspects who is currently at-large. An arrest warrant for Capital Murder was issued for Rene Eduardo Montanez, Jr. arrest.
On Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 11:40 p.m., the Dallas Police Fugitive Unit at 305 W. Commerce Street arrested Rene Eduardo Montanez, Jr. He was transported to Dallas Police Jack Evans Headquarters to be interviewed by Homicide detectives. During the interview, Rene Eduardo Montanez denied his involvement in the offense. After the interview, he was transported to the Dallas County Lew Sterrett Jail and charged with Capital Murder, a Capital Felony.

On Thursday, January 24, 2019, at approximately 10:07 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call, in the parking garage at 8176 Park Lane. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Joseph Anthony Pintucci, an 18-year old White male, slumped over on the front driver side seat of a white 2002 Lincoln 4 door sedan with an apparent gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he died of his injuries.
