On December 31, 2019, at approximately 12:00 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for police at 8550 Midpark Rd, the Midpark Towers, regarding a male stabbed at the location.  Upon arrival the victim, James Henry, a 25-year-old Black male, was found injured in a hallway and transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical staff.  The Dallas Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene and developed information that the victim was stabbed by Terrance Summerville, a 55-year-old Black male, during an argument between the two.  An arrest warrant was obtained for the suspect and he surrendered to the SWAT unit from his apartment at the Midpark Towers.  He was taken to Dallas Police Headquarters and subsequently transported to Lew Sterrett Jail, where he was charged with murder, a first-degree felony. His bond will be set by a Dallas County Magistrate.
