On January 8, 2020, at about 5:30 p.m., the Dallas Police Department’s Vice Unit, with the assistance of Dallas SWAT, executed a search warrant at 6219 South R. L. Thornton Freeway in response to complaints about gambling. After receiving several complaints, the Vice Unit conducted an undercover investigation and established probable cause to obtain and execute a search warrant for the location. Vice Detectives processed the crime scenes and seized a total of 57 machines, 2 handguns, and $7,373.00. Samson Castro, Latin male 31 years old, was arrested for a Parole Violation. This operation is documented on case numbers 243678-2019 and 005356-2020.
