Southeast Aggravated Robbery Suspect Arrested

On January 6, 2020, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Dallas police responded to a business robbery call in the 5900 block of Samuel Blvd.  The victims reported that the suspects entered the business and demanded property. Fearing bodily harm, the victims complied with the suspects demands.  The suspects fled the location on foot.  The offense was documented on case number 004014-2020. 

After further investigation, Robbery detectives were able to identify one of the involved suspects as James D. Dean Black male 54 years old.  The Dallas Police Fugitive Squad was able to locate Suspect Dean in the 3600 block of Elsie Faye Heggins St.  Dean was interviewed at Dallas Police Headquarters and was found to have been involved with multiple business robberies in Dallas, Irving and Ft. Worth. James Dean was arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail for five robbery offenses out of the City of Irving.

Detectives are still looking for an accomplice described as a Black male 45-50 years old and driving a black M35 Infinity.
