During the follow-up investigation, Homicide detectives determined that Rashad Kahlil Warren, a 24-year old Black male, was responsible for the murder of Emily Sarah Bingabing. On Tuesday, January 28, 2020, suspect Rashad Kahlil Warren was found deceased in Greenville, Texas.

On Monday, January 27, 2020, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the unknown victim as Emily Sarah BingaBing, a 22-year old female.

On Sunday, January 26, 2020, at approximately 9:27 p.m., Dallas police, along with Addison Police officers, responded to a shooting call at the Walmart parking lot located at 15220 Montfort Drive. Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified Latin female lying on the ground in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced her deceased at the scene. A witness at the scene described the suspect as a Black male wearing all black and reported that he fled by running away, northbound the parking lot. The unidentified victim did not have an ID card or any identifiers on her body; therefore, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office will attempt to determine her identity based on a fingerprints analysis.
