On February 2, 2020 at about 12:30a.m., officers responded to a major disturbance call at 2506 Knight Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke with several different victims, who had been working inside the location and were assaulted by two unknown male suspects. The victims stated a verbal altercation occurred and then a physical assault ensued. The victims stated that the suspects used homophobic slurs during the assault.

Crimes Against Persons Division will be investigating this incident as a hate crime.
