DPD’s Pet of the Week – Mandy

DPD’s Pet of the Week is Mandy (A1092742). Mandy is a very sweet senior available for adoption at Dallas Animal Services, located at 1818 N. Westmoreland. She’s been with us since the beginning of January and, even though she came in as a stray, she is very smart and knows how to sit on command! She enjoys yummy treats and getting lots of attention from people. Mandy is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and weighs about 57 pounds. Her adoption fee has been waived.

Pictured with Mandy is Detective Christine D. Smith. Detective Smith is an 11 year veteran of the Dallas Police Department. She is from Dallas and a graduate of Richardson High School.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication from Texas State University.  She also holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University and a graduate of the inaugural class of the Leadership Development Series for non-supervisors with Caruth Police Institute. Detective Smith is currently assigned to the Personnel and Support Division as a Background Detective.  Hobbies and things: laughing a lot…you’ll always see a smile on her face! Reading, traveling, hanging with friends and living her best life!
