DPD’s Pet of the Week – Lola

DPD’s Pet of the Week is Lola (A1091176). Lola is a sweet senior Shepherd mix available for adoption at the Dallas Animal Services, located at 1818 N. Westmoreland Road. She is about 7-years-old and has been at the shelter since mid-December, making her one of our longest residents. When Lola arrived, she was pregnant and subsequently gave birth to a litter of puppies. Now, sweet Lola needs to find her happy ending. She participates in playgroups and does well with other dogs, but she really loves getting attention from people. Lola is spayed, vaccinated and soon to be micro-chipped. Her adoption fee has been waived.

The “Leap Day Love” promotion is going on through Monday and all pets are free to adopt!

Pictured with Lola is Officer Veronica Garcia. Veronica is a 7-year-veteran with the Dallas Police Department. She was born and raised in Dallas. Veronica has a 15-year-old daughter, 2 pups, and 1 cat. Some of her hobbies include reading and working out. Veronica has served in the Texas Army National Guard for 20 years and is currently in the Dallas Police Honor Guard. if that is not enough, Veronica is a member of Heroes, Cops, and Kids.
