Help Detectives Locate A Vehicle of Interest in Homicide on Summerwood

UPDATE: April 25, 2020

Through the course of the investigation the Dallas Police Homicide Unit identified Julian Mekai Sesalem, a 19-year-old white male, as a suspect in the murder of Kaleb Simpson on March 22, 2020 at 9821 Summerwood Circle in Dallas. Sesalem currently has an active murder warrant and is wanted by Dallas Police. Another suspect is pictured above, but has not yet been identified.

Dallas Police are asking that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Julian Sesalem or the identity of the other suspect to contact Detective Isom with the Dallas Police Department at (469) 475-6004 or andrea.isom@dallascityhall.com.

On March 22, 2020, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the victim, Kaleb Simpson, was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Summerwood Cove Apartments at 9821 Summerwood Circle. The suspects were driving the vehicle pictured above, which was captured on video surveillance entering the apartment complex immediately before the murder and exiting immediately afterwards. The vehicle is believed to be a 2013 or newer Nissan Altima, dark blue in color, with factory wheels and a temporary license plate. There is no window tint and the front passenger side running lamp is out.
