On Friday, March 27, 2020, at approximately 7:09 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call that occurred in front of a business parking lot located at 4215 S. Lamar Street.  Upon arrival, officers found the unknown victim leaning against the driver’s side of his vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.  Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.  The unknown suspect fled the scene in a silver minivan.  The victim’s name will not be released until the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office conducts a fingerprints analysis to confirm his identity.
