Suspects’ Identity Sought in Animal Cruelty Video

The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in an animal cruelty investigation. On Monday, March 23, 2020, a video was released on social media showing two canine animals attacking a small animal, perhaps a pig. The dogs mutilated the animal causing its death. The video shows two individuals who are believed to go by the nick names “Redneck” and “Bill”. However, we have not been able to positively identify the individuals at this time.

Detectives have reason to believe this incident occurred in Ellis County, but they cannot be certain. A detective have made contact with the person who admitted to posting the video onto social media. He has been cooperating with the investigation, and detectives believe he has no direct involvement at this time.
