On May 14, 2020, at about 11:10 p.m., the victim was crossing the road at 3400 S. Malcolm X Boulevard when she was struck by a vehicle travelling southbound. The suspect vehicle did not stop and continued southbound from the location. The victim was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. The suspect vehicle is believed to be an older Ford Crown Victoria, similar in design and appearance to an older model police car with a white hood and white roof. The doors and fenders are black. The suspect vehicle will have a damaged front end and windshield. The vehicle also had a white window shade in the rear passenger side window.
