As a sign of solidarity, Dallas Police Officers marched for justice and police reform. Watch the touching video of the men and women in blue unite with a movement for justice and equality.

A day earlier, Chief Hall announced a new General Order, 901.02 entitled a ‘Duty to Intervene.’ The objective is to make sure that what happened to Mr. George Floyd, doesn’t happen again.

The order states:

Members of the Dallas Police Department (both sworn and non-sworn) have an obligation to protect the public and other employees. It shall be the duty of every employee present at any scene where physical force is being applied to either stop, or attempt to stop, another employee when force is being inappropriately applied or is no longer required.
