Update: June 16, 2020

Additional information gathered through the investigation revealed that both pictures are the same individual who is a person on interest in the death of Derek Carr.  This individual went to the 7-Eleven located at 6000 W. Plano Parkway right after the incident.  He was seen getting into a black Toyota Prius.

On June 2, 2020, at approximately 2:36 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting at 18600 Dallas Pkwy.  Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim, Derek Carr, a 27-year-old Black male shot multiple times in the apartment complex parking lot.  He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
