Information Sought in Homicide

Update: August 12, 2020

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the unknown victim as Juan Delarosa Arredondo, a 34-year old Latin male. The Homicide Unit has determined that suspect, Hector Raul Wong Garza, a 34-year old Latin male, was responsible for the killing of Mr. Arredondo, and a murder warrant has been issued for his arrest.

On Saturday, June 20, 2020, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the driver of a blue Ford Mustang drove to the Methodist Central Hospital Emergency entrance and requested assistance for his friend who had just been shot. The complainant is unknown and was driven to the emergency room where he was later pronounced deceased. The witness stated the shooting occurred at a carwash near Justin Street and Davis Street. The witness further stated that the complainant was seated in his vehicle when an unknown suspect approached the vehicle and shot the complainant through the open driver’s window and fled the location on foot. 

This investigation is ongoing. There are no suspects in custody at this time. The unidentified victim did not have any identification on his person, therefore the Dallas County Medical Examiner will work on identifying him through fingerprint analysis.
