Arrest Made: In the Homicide Investigation on Audelia Road

On Sunday, July 12, 2020, while investigating the homicide of 25-year-old Lachandra Renee Delce, homicide detectives learned that the victim had a young child that appeared throughout her social media posts. Detectives notified the officers on scene and they were able to locate the two-year-old toddler locked inside the victim’s heated car. The toddler was evaluated by medical personnel and is safe.

On Sunday, July 12, 2020, at approximately 5:36 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Lavera Apartments located at 9842 Audelia Road.  Officers arrived and observed the victim, Lachandra Renee Delce, a 25-year old black female lying on the ground outside of an apartment with multiple gunshot wounds.  Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.  During the investigation, detectives determined that suspect, Tayjoun Anquwan Kibble, a 21-year old black male, was responsible for the killing of the victim.  He was arrested and transported to the Homicide Unit, where detectives interviewed him.  After the interview, suspect Kibble was transported to the Dallas County Jail and charged with Murder. 

The investigation is ongoing.
