On July 26, 2020, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 4417 S Lancaster Road. Upon arrival, they made contact with the victim, Ricky Forward, a 28-year-old Black male, who had suffered from a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire and Rescue transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
