On August 13, 2020, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting at the Motel 6, located at 1625 Regal Row.  Upon their arrival, they discovered an injured Black male security officer who had been involved in a shooting with an unidentified Black female.  The female was found deceased in her vehicle from injuries sustained in the shooting.  The security officer was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is encouraged to contact Detective Yeric, #7178 at 214-671-3677 or michael.yeric@dallascityhall.com.  Please reference case #142874-2020.
