Arrest Made: In the Homicide Investigation of Jasper Green

On February 22, 2021, Keirun Amie, a 32-year-old black male, was arrested for the murder of Jasper Green that occurred on the North Central Expressway service road at Forest Lane on August 14, 2020. Amie will be transported to Lew Sterrett Jail and charged with murder, a felony of the first degree. His bond will be set by a Dallas County Magistrate.

On August 14, 2020, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a major accident at the intersection of North Central Expressway service road and Forest Lane after a white Chevrolet Tahoe collided with a sedan. The driver of the Tahoe was a black male in his thirties who fled the location on foot after the collision. The passenger of the Tahoe was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the death of the passenger, Jasper Green, an 18-year-old black male, was caused by homicidal violence.
