On Sunday, August 23, 2020, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the unknown victim as Willie James Coleman, a 62-year old Black male.

On Friday, August 21, 2020, at 4:53 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 3118 Al Lipscomb Way.  Officers found the unknown victim, a black male, lying on the ground in front of the Texas Wings restaurant parking lot.  The unidentified victim was shot multiple times, and Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced him deceased at the scene.  Since the victim did not have any identification, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office will conduct a fingerprints analysis to determine his identity.
