Multiple People Shot on Elm Street

 

Update: September 8, 2020

On August 30, 2020, 19-year-old Shamar Vershawn Anderson was taken into custody for aggravated assault. On September 2, 2020, the charge was upgraded to capital murder. 

Update: September 2, 2020

On September 1, 2020, the 15-year-old victim from the shooting succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. On August 28, 2020, at approximately 11:14 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting in the 2600 block of Elm Street with multiple victims.  A 15-year-old juvenile was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  Four additional victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.  No suspects are in custody.
