On September 23,2020, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Dallas police received a 911 call reporting a kidnapping. The Reporting Person, Ms. Marilyn Jackson, reported she had stopped at the 7-11 located at 2400 W. Ledbetter Drive and left her 3 year old daughter inside the running vehicle. While Ms. Jackson was inside the store, an unknown subject entered her vehicle and left the location with her vehicle and child inside. As a result, an Amber Alert was issued for the child identified as Chasity Collins, B/F three years old.
An investigation was immediately begun and interviews were conducted with family members. After working in collaboration with federal and regional partners throughout the night, the vehicle was located with the child safe inside at approximately 10:30a.m. Officers, along with Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to the location and the child was recovered and transported to Children’s Medical Center where she is in good condition with no signs of injury. Child Protective services was notified of this incident.

Critical missing Chasity Collins has been located inside the vehicle in the 1100 block of Mountain Lake Road and is safe.

On September 23, 2020, at about 12:30 a.m., Chasity was in a White 2009 Lincoln 4dr MKZ sedan bearing Texas license number JJT5997 that was stolen from the 2400 block of W. Ledbetter Drive, Dallas, TX 75233. As of now, the vehicle nor child has been located. A regional and statewide AMBER Alert is being requested through the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Chasity is described as a 3-year-old Black female. She has black hair, brown eyes, weighs 85 pounds, and is 3’0″. She was last seen wearing an unknown color short sleeve shirt, gray tights, and no shoes.
The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating critical Missing Chasity Collins. Persons with information are asked to call the Police Department at 911 or (214) 671-4268. Please refer to case number 169450-2020.
