On September 7, 2020, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting at 9823 Walnut Street, the Richland Trace Condominiums. Upon arrival, they located the victim, Datyrick Wiley, a 19-year-old black male, with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire and Rescue transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
