On October 12, 2020, at 9:15 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for police at the Concentra Urgent Care located at 2920 N Stemmons Fwy. Witnesses indicated the unidentified victim was dropped off at the location in the back of a 2020 Toyota Corolla and appeared to have suffered from a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined that the offense occurred at 2383 Stemmons Trail in Dallas, the OYO Townhouse. Two suspects, Brian Crowder, a 35-year-old Black male, and Tiffany Watts, a 38-year-old Black female, were located at the location and taken to Dallas Police Headquarters. They were subsequently transported to Lew Sterrett Jail and charged with murder, a felony of the first degree. Their bond will be set by a Dallas County Magistrate.
